“𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫”
is the slogan by Police General Permpoon Chidchob, Minister of Education, as he guides the nationwide administration of education.
On Friday, September 20th, he had the honor of presiding over the opening ceremony of an educational innovation conference at Khum Phukam Hotel in Chiang Mai.
On this occasion, Tonkla School was privileged to participate in a lecture that explored the art and science of learning, focusing on the Finnish education approach.
Tonkla School emphasized that Finland’s globally recognized success in education—regarded as one of the best systems in the world—is rooted in the principle of joyful learning. This philosophy has been the cornerstone of Tonkla School’s approach since its founding 15 years ago, embodied in the concept of “𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲.”
During the lecture, Mr. Boonanake Maneetham, President of Tonkla School, underscored the importance of happiness in learning. He highlighted that when students are happy, their academic performance improves, aligning with the widely accepted belief: “𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭.”
We hope this philosophy will resonate with educational leaders and teachers across the country, leading to happier students nationwide.
… And when students are happy, we, too, find greater happiness.
