Educator Exchange Program in Japanese school
The most important aspect of a school is the quality of its personnel, and the most critical component of personnel quality is the quality of learning. Tonkla School is dedicated to developing its staff through various means, including discussions, seminars, and on-the-job training. The most notable approach is learning from organizations with higher and more distinguished standards, such as those in Finland or Japan.
The MOU between Tonkla School and Asari Education Academy Group provides an opportunity for Tonkla’s administrators and teachers to participate in classroom management exchanges at preschools and kindergartens, such as Kitago Ayumi Kindergarten, Miyanomori Maple Nursery School, Nishimachi Satsuki Nursery School, and Taihei Azusa Nursery School.
Throughout this exchange, the learning extended beyond education, offering a chance for Thai and Japanese students and teachers to learn about each other’s cultures and languages.
Tonkla School’s teachers introduced a traditional Thai game, ‘Walking on Coconut Shells,’ to help Japanese children practice balance, along with teaching them Thai phrases such as “Sawasdee” (Hello) and “Khob Khun” (Thank you). Additionally, the children enjoyed activities like Free Play, Physical Exercise, and Music Class together with the Japanese students in a fun and lively atmosphere.
